Genuine MerCruiser Heavy-Duty Steel-Hub Bravo Engine Coupler - Part Number: 861523A11


A genuine used heavy-duty engine coupler for selected MerCruiser V6 and V8 petrol engines connected to Bravo sterndrives.


The 861523A11 coupler uses steel splines for low-speed, commercial and work-duty applications and accepts either metric or SAE mounting hardware. It bolts to the flywheel and transfers engine torque to the Bravo input shaft through a rubber-isolated centre hub.

🔌 Function


The coupler transfers flywheel rotation to the Bravo input shaft while reducing torsional vibration, shock loading and driveline resonance.


Common signs of failure:


• Engine runs but the sterndrive does not propel the boat
