• 17 applications across the TMD and TAMD series

🔌 Function

Gives the operator something to grip and turn or pull, transferring hand movement into the control behind the panel.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Knob loose, or spinning on its spindle without operating anything
• Cracked or split around the boss where it grips the shaft
• Grub screw or retaining feature stripped or missing
• Surface perished, sticky or worn smooth so it cannot be gripped properly

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the spindle is not worn or burred where the knob grips, since a chewed spindle will loosen a new knob quickly
• Set the knob to the correct position on its shaft before locking it, so the marked positions still line up
