🔌 Function

Seals the joint at the after cooler so charge air and coolant stay in their own passages.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant appearing in the charge air side, or charge pressure lost at the joint
• Weeping or crusted salt and coolant staining at the after cooler joint
• Loss of boost or a drop in power under load
• Gasket found blown through or crushed unevenly on strip-down
• Repeated coolant top-ups with no external leak elsewhere

🛠️ Service Notes

• If you are already renewing the after cooler, kit 877389 contains this gasket, so ordering it separately may duplicate what you have
• Clean both faces and check the after cooler flange for distortion before fitting, since a bowed flange will blow a new gasket again
