⚙️ Key Features

  • 4 applications across D and TD engines
  • Supersedes 842531
  • Inlet and exhaust joint gasket

🔌 Function

Seals the joint between two sections of the inlet or exhaust tract so gas stays inside the pipe.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Ticking or puffing at the joint that changes with load
  • Soot staining fanning out from the flange
  • Exhaust smell in the engine space
  • Gasket found blown through or burnt at an edge on strip-down
  • Flange fasteners found loose or stretched

  • Several narrow D and TD gaskets sit close together in this run, including 862668, 862688, 862689, 862701, 862711 and 862744; they are not interchangeable, so order by part number and by the old number each one replaces
