863045 Bracket | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta bracket from the Engine group, marked P, weighing 10.764 kg and listed for 8 applications across TMD and TAMD series engines. It is one half of a handed pair with bracket 863044, which is marked S.B and covers the same 8 applications, so the S.B or P marking is the only reliable way to tell the two apart.

🔌 Function

Supports and locates an engine mounted assembly on one side of the engine, as the handed half of a matched pair.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Cracking from a bolt hole or a welded corner
• The assembly it carries sitting visibly out of line with its opposite number
• Mounting holes elongated or wallowed
• Fasteners working loose repeatedly
• Bracket bowed or twisted once unbolted

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the marking on the bracket you are replacing before ordering, as P and S.B are not interchangeable
• At 10.764 kg this needs supporting as it comes off rather than being taken on the last bolt
• If this side has cracked, inspect the opposite bracket 863044 at the same time
