🔌 Function

Silences the exhaust gas leaving the engine, dropping the noise before the gas passes out of the vessel.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Exhaust noise rising noticeably with no change in engine condition
• Soot staining or blowing at a seam or joint face
• Rust perforation at the lowest point where condensate collects
• A rattle or shifting weight from inside the body, meaning internal baffles have broken up
• Exhaust fumes detectable in the engine space

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check what the kit contains against what you need before ordering, since it replaces 837224 as a complete assembly rather than as a single body
• Renew all gaskets and clamps and pressure check the joints, as a leaking exhaust puts carbon monoxide into the engine space
• At 104.5 kg this needs lifting gear and ships as a freight item
