Collects the small volume of fuel that bleeds past the injector needles and returns it to the low-pressure side of the system.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Diesel weep at the spill unions or a wet track down the side of the head
  • Fuel smell in the engine space
  • Hard starting or a lumpy idle after the engine has stood
  • Pipe hardened, cracked or swollen where it passes near a hot part
  • Sealing washers found flattened, dished or doubled up on removal

  • Renew every sealing washer in the leak-off run, not only the one that was weeping
