⚙️ Key Features

• For the TAD1230P
• 0.36 kg
• 22 applications across six engine series
• Fuel System group

🔌 Function

Meters and atomises fuel into the combustion chamber, opening at its set pressure so the charge burns evenly through the stroke.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Rough idle, a distinct misfire or a knock from one cylinder
• Black or white smoke and a smell of unburnt fuel
• Hard starting, particularly from cold
• Fuel in the oil or a rising oil level
• Nozzle found coked, dribbling or with a poor spray pattern on test

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the injector seat washer and the sealing ring every time an injector is disturbed
• Never expose skin to the spray - fuel leaving a nozzle is at a pressure that will pierce the skin
• Check the leak-off and spill lines while the injectors are out
