🔌 Function

Joins two sections of the coolant circuit, carrying coolant between them across a sealed, located junction.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Coolant weep or dried crust at either connection
  • Coolant loss that only shows once the system is hot and pressurised
  • Pipe corroded, pitted or thinned where it has been sitting wet
  • Sealing rings found hard, flattened or split on removal
  • A bright chafe line where the pipe has rubbed against a bracket

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Replacing the superseded pipe takes this pipe plus one 180759 - order both together rather than finding out on the day
  • Renew the sealing rings at both ends and pressure test the system after fitting
