🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta spacer sleeve from the Cooling System group, weighing 0.026 kg. Two further spacer sleeves appear in this listing - 865808, the 11.0 mm later-production sleeve, and 865909 in the Engine Controls group - and they serve different assemblies, so compare against the sleeve you remove.

⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.026 kg
  • Cooling System group
  • Two further spacer sleeves listed here, 865808 and 865909

🔌 Function

Sets and holds a fixed gap between two components in a bolted joint, so the fastener clamps to the correct length instead of crushing the assembly.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Fastener losing clamp load or working loose in service
  • Sleeve found crushed, belled or ovalled at one end
  • The component it spaces sitting visibly out of line
  • Fretting marks or a bright ring polished onto the mating faces
  • A knock or rattle from the joint under load

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Measure the sleeve you removed and compare it against the one supplied before assembly
  • Fit a new sleeve whenever the joint is disturbed rather than re-using one that has already been crushed

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
