⚙️ Key Features

  • 3 applications on TAMD engines

🔌 Function

Carries coolant between fixed points on the engine, holding the run clear of moving parts and hot surfaces.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Slow coolant loss that does not trace to a hose
  • Salt or coolant staining along the pipe or at its joints
  • Steam or a sweet smell around the pipe run when hot
  • Internal scaling and pitting when the pipe is cut or cleaned
  • Flange or union faces corroded so they will not seal

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Coolant pipe 866916 is the companion TAMD pipe listed here at 0.342 kg — the two are not interchangeable, so order by pipe number
  • Fit new seals and clamps and pressure test before the engine is run up
