⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.043 kg
  • Supersedes 8627066, formerly catalogued as a vacuum line
  • 20 applications across D series engines
  • Fuel System group

🔌 Function

Carries fuel or a control vacuum between two points, flexing where a rigid pipe could not be used.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Diesel smell in the engine space
  • Air drawn into the fuel system, giving hard starting or stalling
  • Hose hardened, cracked or crazed at the ends
  • Soft or swollen section where fuel has attacked the wall
  • Weeping at a clip that will not stop when the clip is nipped up

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the clips with the hose and cut the new hose square so it seats fully on the spigot
  • Because the number it replaces was listed as a vacuum line, check what the run actually does on your engine before ordering
