🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta exhaust bellows from the Marine Propulsion group, weighing 0.499 kg. No engine applications are listed against it, so match it to the drive by part number.

⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.499 kg
  • Marine Propulsion group
  • Order by part number - no engine applications are listed

🔌 Function

Carries the exhaust from the engine through the transom to the drive, flexing as the drive trims and steers while keeping water out of the boat.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Exhaust fumes or exhaust noise in the engine bay
  • Water in the bilge that rises when under way
  • Bellows cracked, split or perished at the convolutions
  • Clamps corroded, loose or bedded into the rubber
  • Soot staining around the transom fitting

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the exhaust, drive and shift bellows together - they are the same age and doing the same job
  • Do not run the boat with damaged exhaust bellows: a split lets water into the hull and exhaust gas into the boat
  • Check the clamps and the transom shield sealing faces while the drive is off

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
