⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Charge lamp on or flickering with the engine running
  • Batteries not holding charge after a day's use
  • Belt squeal, dust or glazing at the drive
  • Bearing whine or rumble from the alternator
  • Charging voltage low at the battery, or high enough to gas it

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Confirm the system is 24 volt and the engine serial number is 1101038359 or later before ordering
  • Check belt condition, charge cable and earth strap first — cable volt drop mimics a failed alternator
  • 873770 is the 12 volt alternative listed here
