Genuine Volvo Penta oil temperature instrument, 52 mm, with a black face and a 0-150°C scale, weighing 0.102 kg and listed for 100 applications across D and VMM series engines. It supersedes part number 863408. The matching white-faced version is 874922, which carries the same 0-150°C scale — colour is the only thing separating them, so match the rest of the panel. Like the other EVC instruments it has an anti-fogging membrane and full backlighting, and the front ring is ordered separately.

Displays oil temperature at the helm from the engine's oil temperature sender.

• Needle dead at zero or jammed at the top of the scale
• Reading drifting while oil temperature is steady
• Backlighting failed with the needle still responding
• Moisture or staining behind the glass
• Reading that will not agree with a second instrument or a hand-held probe
