It is an EVC instrument, with an anti-fogging membrane, full backlighting and a separately ordered front ring.

Displays oil temperature at the helm from the engine's oil temperature sender.

• Needle unresponsive with the oil up to temperature
• Reading drifting with no matching change in engine condition
• Backlighting out behind a working needle
• Condensation or staining behind the glass
• Reading that will not agree with a hand-held probe
