Colour and units are the whole difference between the four.

• Test the sender and its earth before replacing the instrument
• Match units and colour to the rest of the panel — mixing Fahrenheit into a Celsius set is the usual cause of a returned instrument
• The white Celsius instrument on the 0-120°C scale is 874921
