It supersedes part number 877104. Note that 877104 is also superseded by 876065 and 876336 - Volvo records that as a multiple replacement, so the old number maps onto a set of current parts ordered together rather than one alternative. Liner kit 876183 carries the same serial break at 7.28 kg but covers a different series list, so order on serial break, series and part number rather than weight.
