  • Oil weeping from the valve cover joint after an adjustment
  • Rough running or a misfire that follows one cylinder
  • Seals found hardened, flattened or split when the injector is withdrawn

  • Renew the injector seat seals whenever an injector is disturbed, even if the same injector goes back in
  • Reset the valve clearances to specification once the cover is refitted
