🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta overhaul kit for the TAD1030V, from the Engine group, weighing 100 kg and listed for 7 applications across the TWD, TD and TAD series. It supersedes 877243 and 877543. The old number 877243 is also listed against overhaul kit 877545 for the TD1030ME and TWD1030ME, so an enquiry on that number alone can lead to either kit.

🔌 Function

Groups the parts Volvo Penta lists for an overhaul of this engine under one number, so the rebuild is ordered in a single line rather than assembled piece by piece.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Heavy blue or grey smoke once the engine is warm
• Oil consumption climbing between services
• Power falling away and compression down across the cylinders
• Crankcase breather blowing hard
• Oil pressure low at idle when hot

🛠️ Service Notes

• Order against the designation on the engine plate - this kit is listed for the TAD1030V
• Because 877243 also points to kit 877545, confirm the engine before ordering against the old number
• At 100 kg it is a palletised item, so arrange lifting and delivery access before it arrives
