Genuine Mercury Side-Mount Remote Control Box - Part Number: 8M0178524
A genuine Mercury and Quicksilver mechanical side-mount remote control for single-engine outboards with power trim.
The control combines throttle, forward-neutral-reverse gear selection, fast-idle operation, power trim control and the engine warning horn in one helm-mounted assembly. It is fitted with an 8-pin electrical connector and a 20-foot control harness.

🔌 Function
The control box transfers helm-lever movement to the engine throttle and gearshift mechanisms while providing electrical connections for trim operation, engine starting circuits and warning-horn functions.
