🔧 Product Description

⚙️ Key Features
- Workshop tool, not a fitted part
- 0.102 kg
- Lighter of the two expanders here, against 884726 at 0.186 kg
- No published engine fitment
🔌 Function
Stretches a ring, sleeve or seal open just far enough to pass it over a shoulder or into its groove undamaged.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Fingers or jaws sprung so they open unevenly
- Burrs or sharp edges that nick the seal being fitted
- Pivot worn or stiff
- Rust pitting on the working faces
🛠️ Service Notes
- Deburr and lightly oil the tool before use so it does not cut the component it expands
- Open the item only as far as it needs to go, since a seal stretched too far is scrap before it is fitted
📦 Condition
- Genuine Volvo Penta part
- Brand new
- Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
