🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta exhaust pipe kit from the Inlet and Exhaust System group, weighing 3.885 kg. The other kit in this run, 888105, is published at 3.797 kg — only 88 grams apart, so weight will not separate the two. Order by part number against the exhaust layout you have.

⚙️ Key Features

• 3.885 kg
• Inlet and Exhaust System group
• Only 88 grams apart from kit 888105 — order by number
• Supplied complete under one number

🔌 Function

Supplies the exhaust pipe run and the parts needed to join it, so the gas path is sealed from the manifold onwards.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Soot trails, black staining or a tick or hiss at a joint
• Exhaust fumes or smell in the engine space
• Pipe corroded through, blistered or pinholed
• Flange faces distorted so the joint will not pull up square
• Studs, nuts or clamps seized, broken or corroded away

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the gaskets and any seized fasteners at the same time — an exhaust joint that leaks into a boat is a carbon monoxide risk, not just a noise
• Check which of 888104 and 888105 your layout calls for; the published weights are too close to tell them apart
