🔧 Product Description
Genuine Volvo Penta fixture weighing 3.062 kg, one of eight fixtures listed in this run. Three of them sit close together on paper — this one at 3.062 kg, 88820013 at 3.64 kg and 88820012 at 3.756 kg — so weight is a poor way to pick between them. Order by part number and by the tool list for your engine.
⚙️ Key Features
- 3.062 kg
- Close in published weight to fixtures 88820012 and 88820013 — order by number
- Part of a numbered run of workshop tools listed together here
- No engine application list of its own
🔌 Function
Holds an assembly rigidly in a known position while it is worked on, so the work is done square and repeatably.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Locating faces worn, scored or picked up
- Fixture rocking rather than sitting flat on the component
- Mounting holes elongated or their threads pulled
- Distortion or a bow after being used beyond its purpose
- Cracks around welds, corners or mounting holes
🛠️ Service Notes
- Keep 88820010, 88820012 and 88820013 marked if you hold more than one — their published weights are too close to separate them
