Genuine Volvo Penta torque wrench, listed at 1.58 kg for the D8A1-A MP engine and the TAD570VE to TAD572VE and TAD870VE to TAD873VE industrial units. It supersedes 1159794. Torque wrench 9998081 at 0.544 kg covers the sterndrive and IPS side instead, so the two are not interchangeable by fitment.

  • Have it recalibrated after a drop and at the interval the manual sets, since a wrench reading high is worse than no wrench at all
  • Use it for final tightening only, never for slackening
