🔌 Function

Holds the unit rigid while it is being moved, preventing the internal parts from shifting in transit.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Lock bent, cracked or distorted by movement in transit
• Fixings seized, missing or pulled out
• Witness marks showing the unit has moved against the lock
• Lock found still fitted on a unit that has been put into service
