⚙️ Key Features

  • For propeller shaft 875524 with keygroove
  • Matching lock washer is 907025
  • 0.014 kg
  • 166 applications across six engine series

🔌 Function

Threads onto the propeller shaft to clamp and retain the propeller against the thrust it generates.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Nut found slack, or the propeller moving on its shaft
  • Thread galled, stretched or stripped
  • Locking washer behind it cracked or flattened
  • Keyway or key showing bright wear or bruising
  • Vibration under way that was not there before

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Fit a new lock washer 907025 with the nut, as it is single use and is what stops the nut turning
  • Check the shaft thread, key and keyway before refitting, since a propeller that has been loose damages all three
  • A propeller nut that comes off loses the propeller, so tighten to the specified figure and lock it positively

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
