🔧 Product Description
Anchorlift Windlass Up/Down Deck Foot Switch Pair - White - Part Number: 90900W
A matched pair of deck-mounted momentary foot switches for controlling anchor-windlass raise and lower functions. Each switch has a protective white cover that helps prevent accidental operation and shields the operating surface from direct exposure when closed.
⚙️ Key Features
- Pair provides separate UP and DOWN windlass commands
- Protective white hinged covers
- Momentary foot operation leaves both hands free for rode control
- Designed for deck mounting in a convenient anchoring position
- Suitable for controlling the windlass solenoid or reversing contactor
📏 Specifications
- Quantity: 2 switches
- Functions: One UP switch and one DOWN switch
- Cover colour: White
- Electrical configuration must match the installed windlass control circuit
🔄 Cross Reference & Comparable Options
- Same switch family with black covers: Anchorlift 90900B
- Comparable products include Maxwell, Lewmar, Quick and Muir covered foot switches; wiring and current ratings are not universally interchangeable
🛠️ Installation & Wiring
- Install on a rigid deck surface where the operator can see the anchor and rode
- Seal all deck penetrations and cable entries against water ingress
- Wire through the windlass control solenoid/contactor unless the system manual expressly specifies otherwise
- Use correctly rated cable, circuit protection and waterproof terminals
- Keep switches clear of loose chain, rope and standing water
🔌 Function
Sends a momentary control signal to the windlass reversing solenoid or contactor, commanding the motor to retrieve or deploy the anchor while the selected switch is pressed.
Common signs of failure
- Windlass operates in one direction but not the other
- Intermittent response when the switch is pressed
- Cracked cover or water ingress around the switch body
- Corroded terminals, loose wiring or excessive voltage drop
- Switch sticks or remains electrically engaged after pressure is released
