🔧 Product Description

Aftermarket MerCruiser engine-alignment shaft manufactured to replace special tool 91-805475A1. It is inserted through the transom gimbal bearing and into the engine coupler to verify that the engine, coupler, bearing and sterndrive input-shaft centreline are correctly aligned.

The tool is suitable for routine annual alignment checks and for mandatory verification after engine removal, engine-mount adjustment, coupler replacement, transom service or gimbal-bearing replacement.

🔌 Function

Ensures the drive input shaft can pass through the gimbal bearing and engage the splined engine coupler concentrically. The engine mounts are adjusted until the bar enters smoothly and produces an even grease pattern around the coupler contact area.
