Genuine Yamaha Lower-Unit Driveshaft Oil Seal 23mm x 37mm x 6mm - Part Number: 93101-23070
A genuine Yamaha S-type oil seal used around the vertical driveshaft in selected Yamaha and Japanese-built Mercury or Mariner lower units.
The seal is installed beneath the water-pump assembly and separates the gearcase lubricant from the water-pump cavity. Two seals may be installed back-to-back on compatible gearcases to provide protection against both oil leakage and water intrusion.

🔌 Function
The oil seal retains lower-unit lubricant around the driveshaft while preventing cooling water from entering the gearcase through the water-pump base.
