Genuine Yamaha Lower-Unit Shaft Oil Seal 24mm x 40.25mm x 6mm - Part Number: 93101-25M03


A genuine Yamaha S-type oil seal used around the driveshaft or propeller shaft on selected F75, F80, F90 and F100 four-stroke lower units.


Compatible gearcases commonly use two seals installed in opposing directions to retain gear lubricant and prevent water entry.

🔌 Function


The seal retains gear lubricant around the rotating shaft and prevents water, fishing-line contamination and debris from entering the lower unit.


Common signs of failure:


• Milky or water-contaminated gear oil

• Oil leaking behind the propeller or beneath the water pump

• Fishing line wrapped around the propeller shaft

• Gearcase fails pressure or vacuum testing

• Seal lips are hardened, torn or grooved
