Genuine Yamaha Large-Gearcase Driveshaft Oil Seal - Part Number: 93101-28M16
A genuine Yamaha driveshaft oil seal for selected 75HP to 300HP four-stroke and 115HP to 300HP two-stroke lower units.
The seal fits around the vertical driveshaft beneath the water-pump base. Compatible gearcases commonly use two seals installed in opposing directions.

🔌 Function
The seal retains lower-unit lubricant around the driveshaft and prevents water entering the gearcase through the water-pump base.
Common signs of failure:
• Lower-unit lubricant becomes milky

• Gearcase fails a pressure or vacuum test
• Seal lips become hardened or damaged
• Driveshaft corrosion or grooving develops beneath the seals
