Genuine Yamaha Lower-Unit Shift Shaft Oil Seal - Part Number: 93106-09014


A genuine Yamaha DD-type oil seal fitted around the lower-unit shift shaft on selected outboards and Yamaha sterndrives.


The seal prevents water from entering the gearcase around the moving shift shaft and retains the lower-unit lubricant.

🔌 Function


The seal allows the shift shaft to rotate and move while preventing water entry and gear-oil leakage around the shaft.


Common signs of failure:


• Lower-unit oil becomes milky

• Shift shaft develops corrosion at the seal surface
