Genuine Yamaha Driveshaft Seal Carrier O-Ring - Part Number: 93210-54534-00
A genuine Yamaha lower-unit O-ring for the driveshaft bearing and oil-seal carrier of selected 115HP to 250HP outboards.
The O-ring seals the carrier to the lower-unit housing, retaining gear lubricant and preventing water from passing around the outside of the driveshaft seal assembly.

🔌 Function
The O-ring seals the driveshaft carrier to the gear housing so lubricant remains in the gearbox and water cannot bypass the carrier seals.
Common signs of failure:
• Gear oil leaks beneath the water pump

• Lower unit fails pressure or vacuum testing
• Corrosion is present around the carrier groove
