🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta elbow nipple weighing 0.084 kg and listed for 202 applications across D, TAD, TD, TWD, TID and TMD series engines. It supersedes 787062 and 824467, numbers that were catalogued earlier under other names including an oil cooler. Note that 787062 is also replaced by rubber hose 943369 in this run, so an order against that old number may bring more than one current part.

🚤 Compatibility

  • Engine Family: D, TAD, TD, TWD, TID, TMD, TAMD, MD

Full model list at the end of this description.

⚙️ Key Features

  • 0.084 kg
  • 202 applications across D, TAD, TD, TWD, TID and TMD engines
  • Supersedes 787062 and 824467
  • 787062 is also replaced by rubber hose 943369

🔌 Function

Turns a fluid line through a corner at the connection point, so the hose or pipe can leave the port at an angle without being kinked.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Weeping or a wet film at the threaded joint
  • Corrosion or scale build-up around the fitting
  • Body cracked at the bend, which is where the stress concentrates
  • Sealing face or thread damaged from previous overtightening
  • Fitting turning in its port when the hose is moved

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew the sealing washer or ring at the port while it is apart
  • Set the angle of the elbow before final tightening so the hose is not twisted into place
