⚙️ Key Features

• 0.05 mm thick
• 205 applications across AQ, MD, TMD, AD, AQAD and D units
• Paired with 943870 at 0.20 mm on the same list
• Order by thickness - the published weights do not separate the pair

🔌 Function

Takes up clearance in an assembly, its thickness setting the endfloat, preload or backlash the build is adjusted to.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Endfloat, backlash or preload outside the figure the assembly calls for
• Whine, rumble or knock from an assembly running on the wrong clearance
• Shim found flattened, dished or picked up on its faces
• Bright fretting or bedding marks where the shim has been working

🛠️ Service Notes

• Three 0.05 mm shims appear in this run - 943252 and 943871 are the others, on different application lists - so match the fitment as well as the thickness
• At 0.05 mm a shim is easily mistaken for swarf or a burr; count them out and back in

📦 Condition

• Genuine Volvo Penta part

• Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
