946048 Spacer Washer | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta spacer washer for use with 865884, weighing 0.005 kg and listed for 81 applications across the TAD, TWD, TID, TD, D and TAMD series. It consolidates four earlier numbers — 1505047, 1503492, 842350 and 845243 — one of which was catalogued earlier as a spacer sleeve, so an older parts list may show a sleeve where this washer now answers.

🔌 Function

Sets and holds the standing gap between two components so the assembly builds to its intended length.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Assembly standing proud or sitting too deep once built
• Washer dished, cupped or bedded into the mating face
• Fretting marks or a bright ring where it has been working
• Fastener found loose because the stack height has closed up

🛠️ Service Notes

• Because it answers four older numbers, an old parts list may call up something different for the same position — this is the current part
