Locks two components together through a drilled hole, the rolled pin springing outwards against the bore to hold itself in place.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Pin working its way out of the bore
  • Pin sheared, with one half left in each component
  • Hole elongated or bellmouthed where the pin has been moving
  • Component loose or able to turn on its shaft
