⚙️ Key Features

• For engines from serial number 2061139523 onwards
• 0.005 kg
• 47 applications across five engine families
• 6 used per assembly

🔌 Function

Clamps a bolted joint and resists loosening under vibration through its own locking action.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Joint working loose between services
• Locking action gone, so the nut spins freely down the thread
• Thread stripped or galled on removal
• Corrosion seizing the nut to the stud

🛠️ Service Notes

• Check the engine serial number before ordering - this row is the later build and the breakpoint is the only thing separating it
• Self-locking nuts lose their grip once disturbed, so fit a new one rather than reusing the old

📦 Condition

• Genuine Volvo Penta part
• Brand new
• Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
