🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta extension pipe from the Inlet and Exhaust System group, weighing 4.248 kg. No engine applications are listed against this number, so it is ordered on the part number and matched to the pipe run it replaces.

⚙️ Key Features

  • 4.248 kg
  • Inlet and Exhaust System group
  • No engine applications listed — order by part number
  • No published length or bore

🔌 Function

Carries exhaust gas onward from one section of the system to the next.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Soot streaking, black staining or a sharp ticking at a joint
  • Exhaust noise noticeably louder in the engine space
  • Corrosion pinholes or blistering along the pipe wall
  • Cracking at a weld, flange or bend
  • Flange faces distorted or bolt holes pulled oval

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Renew gaskets and fasteners at both flanges — exhaust fasteners rarely come out fit to go back
  • Check the flange faces are flat before assembly; a bowed flange will blow out the new gasket

📦 Condition

  • Genuine Volvo Penta part
  • Brand new
  • Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
