🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta rubber cooling hose with a 19 mm internal diameter and a 27 mm external diameter, supplied as an 800 mm length. It weighs 0.363 kg, is listed for 246 applications across TAD, TD, AQ, D, TWD and TID series engines - the widest fitment of the four hoses here - and supersedes 13720. Volvo Penta rubber hoses are made specifically for the engine's cooling system and are built to take both suction and pressure. The long 800 mm cut is meant to be trimmed to the run rather than fitted as it comes, and the recommended stainless steel clip for this size is 961666.

🚤 Compatibility

  • Engine Family: TAD, TD, AQ, D, TWD, TID, TMD, BB, MS, DP, SP, TAMD, MD
  • HP Range: 13-75 HP

🔌 Function

Carries flow between two rigid connections over a longer, flexible run, absorbing engine movement along the way.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Weeping at either end fitting
  • Hardened, glazed rubber that cracks when flexed
  • Soft or ballooned sections part way along the run
  • Chafing or a worn flat where the hose has rubbed against a bracket
  • Collapse or kinking on the suction side

🛠️ Service Notes

  • Cut to length with a sharp blade and square to the axis - an angled cut will not seal under a clip
  • Support the run with clips so it cannot chafe; at 800 mm there is enough free length to find something to rub on
  • Recommended stainless steel hose clip for this size is 961666
