Genuine Volvo Penta o-ring listed for 40 applications across the MD, AQ, D, TWD and BB families. It was dropped from the 2003B and 2003D from serial number 2300059085 onwards and from the 2003TB from serial number 2300059107 onwards, so check the engine build before ordering. It replaces 861062, 861061 and 926033, two of which were catalogued earlier as valve covers.

🔌 Function

Seals the joint between two faces, squeezed into its groove to keep oil and pressure in.

• Oil weeping at the sealed joint
• Ring hardened, flattened or gone shiny
• Nicks or splits from assembly damage
• Swelling or softening from the wrong fluid

• On later 2003 series engines this ring is no longer used - check the serial number before ordering, or the part will not fit the joint
• Because two of the superseded numbers were valve covers, an old order line may have covered the cover as well as the seal
