🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta v-belt, 1050 mm long, weighing 0.125 kg and listed for 9 applications across the AQ and BB series. It supersedes part number 829189, which earlier catalogues carried only as a spare part with no belt description against it.

🚤 Compatibility

Typically suits:

  • Volvo Penta AQ225D
  • Volvo Penta AQ175A
  • Volvo Penta AQ200D
  • Volvo Penta AQ260A
  • Volvo Penta AQ200F
  • Volvo Penta 740A
  • Volvo Penta BB740A

  • Engine Family: AQ, BB

⚙️ Key Features

  • 1050 mm long
  • 0.125 kg
  • Listed for 9 applications across the AQ and BB series
  • Supersedes 829189, listed earlier only as a spare part
  • L=1050mm (Volvo assembly listing)

🔌 Function

Transmits drive from the crankshaft pulley to the engine's belt-driven auxiliaries.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

  • Squealing or chirping from the front of the engine under load
  • Charge warning lamp flickering as the belt slips
  • Cracks across the inner face or glazing on the flanks
  • Belt riding low in the groove and the tension falling away quickly

🛠️ Service Notes

  • The number it replaces gave no description, so an old parts list showing only a spare part against 829189 still points here
