⚙️ Key Features

• 30 mm diameter
• 0.009 kg
• 55 applications
• TAMD, AD, D, TMD, TD and MD series

🔌 Function

Seals a cast drilling in the block or head, expanding into the bore as it is driven home.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant weeping or a crusted stain around the plug
• Plug dished, rusted through or perforated
• Plug pushed out or standing proud of the casting
• Corrosion pitting in the plug bore

🛠️ Service Notes

• Order by the 30 mm diameter - expansion plugs are separated by bore size
• Clean the bore back to bare metal and use a sealant on the seat; a rusted seat is why the replacement leaks
• Drive the plug squarely with a drift the same size as its face, not on the edge

📦 Condition

• Genuine Volvo Penta part
• Brand new
• Supplied in original or equivalent packaging
