🔌 Function

Provides the barbed spigot the fuel hose pushes onto, so a flexible hose can be joined to a threaded port and held by a clamp.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Fuel weeping or smelling at the hose end
• Barbs flattened, scored or corroded
• Thread damaged where the nipple screws into the valve
• Hose split or ballooned where it sits over the nipple

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the hose and its clamp with the nipple, a used hose seldom re-seals on fresh barbs
• Check valve 22463597 itself if the nipple has been leaking, as fuel tracking down the thread points at the seal below it
