⚙️ Key Features

• 0.002 kg
• Replaces 956074 and 940102
• Supersedes numbers formerly listed as a hexagon screw and a cross recessed screw
• Recorded against 248 applications
• Also supersedes Volvo part numbers 861061, 861062 and 902223

🔌 Function

Clamps a component to its mounting face, the socket head allowing it to be tightened in a recess or where there is no room to swing a spanner.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Socket rounded out so the key no longer bites
• Screw backing off and the component working loose
• Thread stripped or crossed on refitting
• Head corroded or the socket packed with dirt

🛠️ Service Notes

• The drive has changed twice over the supersessions, so the key or bit that fitted the old screw may not fit this one
• Five six point socket screws here share a published weight of 0.002 kg (969278, 969403, 969476, 969556 and 969558), so order by number rather than by comparing weights
