976044 O-Ring | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta o-ring weighing 0.011 kg and listed for 54 applications across TAMD, AD, D, TMD, KAD and KAMD series engines. It supersedes part numbers 3826604 and 3838296; both of those numbers are also replaced by gasket 976929, so the ring and the gasket are supplied together against an old order rather than as alternatives.

🚤 Compatibility

• Engine Family: TAMD, AD, D, TMD, KAD, KAMD

🔌 Function

Seals a static joint between two components, keeping fluid or pressure on the correct side of the face.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Weeping or a damp film around the sealed joint
• Ring flattened or glazed, having taken a permanent set
• Splits, nicks or a spiral twist along the ring
• Slow loss of fluid or pressure with no other visible source

🛠️ Service Notes

• An old parts list calling for 3826604 or 3838296 now needs this ring and gasket 976929 together - order the pair
• 976023 is the other 0.011 kg o-ring in this group, so the weight does not identify this one
