979654 Hose Clamp | Genuine Volvo Penta Part

🔧 Product Description

Genuine Volvo Penta hose clamp weighing 0.066 kg and listed for 30 applications across the TAD, TWD and TD series. Three hose clamps appear in this run - this one, 980130 and 980138 - and none publish a band diameter or width, so the engine fitment and part number are the only reliable guide.

🚤 Compatibility

• Engine Family: TAD, TWD, TD

🔌 Function

Clamps a rubber hose onto its spigot, holding the joint pressure-tight through vibration and repeated heat cycling.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Coolant or oil weeping from under the end of the hose
• Screw or band rusted so the clamp will not tighten further
• Band cutting into the hose or embedded in the rubber
• Clamp found slack after the joint has been through heat cycles

🛠️ Service Notes

• Renew the clamp with the hose - a band tightened onto a swollen hose seldom re-seals on a new one
• Position the screw housing clear of the hose bend and where a driver can reach it in service

📦 Condition

• Genuine Volvo Penta part
