⚙️ Key Features

• 0.007 kg
• Listed for 29 applications on the D series
• Supersedes 924066
• Length is not published - measure the old stud
• Quantity varies by assembly, most commonly three

🔌 Function

Screws into a casting to leave a permanent threaded pillar, so the joint is made and broken on a nut instead of on the casting thread.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Stud unscrewing with the nut rather than the nut releasing
• Thread stretched or stripped at either end
• Corroded shank where it passes through the joint
• Nut refusing to hold torque

🛠️ Service Notes

• Chase the tapped hole and check it is sound before fitting - a stud is only as good as the thread it sits in
• Fit to the specified projection so the nut has full thread engagement
