⚙️ Key Features

• 0.016 kg
• Listed for 14 applications across the TAD and TAMD series
• Supersedes 956967
• Bore size is not published - order by part number

🔌 Function

Fits over the end of a cable or pipe and is compressed onto it, gathering the end into a controlled shape so the connection grips evenly.

⚠️ Common Signs of Failure

• Joint pulling apart or the end working loose under vibration
• Ferrule cracked or split along its length after crimping
• Corrosion between ferrule and the part it grips
• A crimp that has clearly been made with the wrong die - flattened rather than formed

🛠️ Service Notes

• Use the die that matches the ferrule; an undersized crimp is the usual cause of a joint that fails later
• Take the old ferrule as the pattern - the seven in this run cannot be separated by anything the listing publishes
